13. Ventilator Power up and Power down.
13.0.1 Mains power indicator.
The ventilator has a LED indicator on the front facia to indicate when mains
power is present. The indicator unlike previous models does not indicate that the
machine is ON. The mains power present indicator allows the user to see that the
ventilator is charging the batteries.
13.0.2 Powering up and down.
The ventilator has an internal battery that will allow the ventilator to continue
operating in a mains power failure situation. The ventilator should not be started
on battery power.
13.0.3 Turning ON the ventilator
Depress and hold down the mains power switch for 2 seconds. When the
ventilator has started release the button.
13.0.4 Turning OFF the ventilator
Depress and hold down the mains power switch for 2 seconds. The ventilator will
power down but the “Complete Power Fail Alarm” will be active.
To cancel the alarm depress the mains switch again but do not hold down.
