Entering a destination by address
Introduction
When entering an address as the
destination, you have the following
options:

entering the country, city/zip code and
house number
R
entering the country, city/zip code and
street
R
entering the country, city/zip code,
street and intersection
R
entering the country, city/zip code and
center
R
entering the country, city/zip code and
points of interest
R
entering the country, city/zip code
Country and city/zip code are sufficient to
start navigating. You can enter either a
city or a zip code. By entering further
address data such as the street and house
number, you can specify the destination
more precisely.

Note that you can only enter a street,
house number, intersection etc. once you
have entered a country and a city or zip
code.

You can only enter those cities, streets,
zip codes etc. that are stored in the
digital map. This means that for some
countries, you cannot enter zip codes, for
example.
Example: entering an address
The following is a step-by-step example of
how to enter an address in Expert mode. The
destination address is as follows:
Germany
Berlin
Unter den Linden/Friedrichstraße
(intersection)
You can of course enter any country, city,
street and house number desired and enter,
for example, your home address (My
address).
Calling up the address entry menu

Call up the navigation main menu
(Y page 25).

Press Enter address.
The enter new destination menu appears.
