Chapter 3 - Information on the machine
24
The table below describes the zones of the machine where the operator must pay the utmost
attention to avoid possible danger.
ATTENTION!
Leave the sealing frame open when the machine is switched off to allow it to cool down.
ZONE A
Do not touch the sealing blade immediately after a packaging cycle: burn
hazard.
ZONE B
Be careful during descent of the sealing frame during the sealing process: risk
of bruising/crushing upper limbs. A safety device instantly stops the closing
process of the sealing frame when an obstacle is detected (like an object or
the hands of the operator).
ZONE C
Be careful when the conveyor belt is evacuating products: risk of minor
crushing and/or cutting of upper limbs due to dragging.
Do not insert hands in the area between the conveyor belt and the roller
conveyor.
ZONE D Small pricks caused by perforators on reel holder.
ZONE E
(where
present)
Possibility of crushing of limbs or clothes entrapment with consequent
dragging hazard due to the rotational movement of the film scrap collection
device.
Intervene on the device only when the machine is stationary.
