4.5 POSITIONING REEL HOLDER SUPPORT AND PRODUCT
HOLDING PLATE
The reel holder support 1 and the product holder 2 must be adjusted according to the width L
of the product being packaged. Leave approximately 1-2 cm between the product and the
sealing edge as shown in the figure.
4.6 USING THE SCRAP COLLECTION DEVICE
For some models there is a device which one can collect the film scrap resulting from the
packaging process. When the film scrap reaches a few metres in length, feed it onto rollers A
and B as shown in the figure and subsequently fasten it to flap C. This way th film scrap will
automatically be wound by the device.
When the device has reached maximum film scrap capacity, remove it by unscrewing knob D
shown in the figure.
