MAINTENANCE
HYDRAULIC FLUID
The hydraulic uid reservoir is located on the chassis door as shown in gure 2-13.
HYDRAULIC FLUID CHECK PROCEDURE
1. Make sure that the platform is fully lowered.
2. Open the chassis door.
3. Check that the uid level is between the minimum
and the maximum level marks indicated on either the
side of the hydraulic tank or on the dipstick (if tted).
The dipstick if tted can be found on the bottom of
the lling cap.
4. To add hydraulic uid, remove the ller cap as shown
in gure 2-13.
5. Add the recommended hydraulic uid if necessary
using specications set on page 24

NEVER add hydraulic uid to the reservoir if the platform is elevated.

Explosive gas mixture hazard: Keep sparks, ames and smoking material away from batteries. ALWAYS wear
safety glasses when working near batteries. Battery uid is highly corrosive. Thoroughly rinse away any spilled uid
with clean water. ALWAYS replace batteries with Snorkel batteries or manufacture approved replacements weighing
26.3 kg (58lbs) each.
