10.8.2 Protection on an UPS without auxilary mains supply.
Activating UPS protection on the mimic panel: access the Conguration menu on the mimic panel (see the Congu-
ration Menu section in the manual) and set the BACKFEED TYPE parameter to 3.BYPASS-INPUT Common.
Attention.
The neutral on the input or the output of the UPS are identical. Consequently there is no risk of high potential when
the input power supply is absent.
However, depending on the type of system connected in the output or in some failure conditions (earth leakage,
signicant phase dispersion or in case of non-isolated neutral system), high potential can be detected. It will there-
fore be necessary to install either adequate neutral switching or protection system.
