A large ground clearance means more grip.
A low ground clearance means more sliding.

The stiffness of the axle plays an important part in the behaviour of the kart.
AXLE DIAMETER 50!, STANDARD Q 25 Available in the ITAKA catalogue .
AXLE DIAMETER 50!, FLEXIBLE Q 20 Available in the ITAKA catalogue .
A flexible axle suits high grip conditions (Heat and ( or ) gum on the track).
A stiff axle suits low grip conditions ( rain , humid track , cold with little gum
track ).
In order to get the best out of the SR4 , do not hesitate to test different stiffnesses of
axle.!
To guide your trials, see table next page.
In most conditions, the correct axle position is the low ground clearance one.
This corresponds to a high position of the axle , relative to the frame.
