Figure 15 shows how the power supply is wired to the APD8 board.

The APD8 is an access control power distribution system providing eight relay
controlled, individually protected outputs. The APD8 provides Class-2 power
limited outputs via PTC protection. The board can be operated from 12V or 24V
AC or DC and features independently programmable outputs, Fire Alarm
Interface and visual status indication.
Eight outputs - each individually programmable for form-C dry contact,
continuous output voltage, and FAI controlled
Eight inputs - each individually wired from ACM relay outputs
