5.2 ADVANCED OPERATION
The chiller controller has two menus: the Status Menu and the
Parameter Input Menu. The Status Menu shows the chiller operating
status and current temperature of fluid leaving the chiller. The Status
Menu also allows input of new coolant temperature set-points. The
Parameter Input Menu allows input of the Alarm Range, the
temperature Offset, and the Back Light on/off command.
STATUS MENU: The status menu displays the chiller operating status and coolant temperature. The
chiller operating mode is shown in the display’s first character: (See Figure 4)

Operating Modes:
STANDBY (*) = Standby mode, no temperature control. Pump runs if set to ON in Standby
> = Cooling mode, coolant temperature is above the alarm range
< = Heating mode, coolant temperature is below the alarm range
= Cooling when % TE power is displayed
+ = Heating when % TE power is displayed
Indicates remote control via RS-232, RS-485, or Ethernet. This will lock out the keypad.
