display shows 20°C, entering 22°C – 20°C = 2°C will cause the chiller
to shift its temperature calibration scale up 2°C to match the external
sensor. The factory default is 0.0°C.
TEMPUNIT: Sets temperature units in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit.
The factory default is °C.
LOW FLOW: This parameter sets the low flow limit that trips a flow
alarm. This feature is only available on units with the -FM option.
The factor default is 0.7 lpm
FLOW ADJ: This parameter adjusts the flow rate displayed. This can
be used to match flow to an external flowmeter for calibration
purposes. This feature is only available on units with the -FM
option. The factory default is 0.
FLOWUNIT: This parameter sets the flow units in liters per minute
(lpm) or gallons per minute (gpm). This feature is only available on
units with the -FM option. The factory default is lpm.
BK LIGHT: This feature turns off the display backlight and is only
available on Custom Engineered Specials (CES). The factory
default is ON.
POLARITY DC EN: This feature sets the polarity for the remote Dry
Contact input On/Off signal. (LO/HI). This feature is only available
on Custom Engineered Specials (CES). The factory default is LO.
MENU: This feature changes the display from a static reading of the
temperature to the upper line displaying the coolant temperature and
the lower line scrolling between Set Point, % of full power, and Flow
if the unit has the flowmeter option. The factory default is Static
DECIMAL PLACES: Sets the temperature display precision,
1 = 0.1°C or °F, 2 = 0.01°C or °F. The factory default is 1.
COM MODE: This sets the RS-232 communications mode. Options
are HEX @ 9.6k or ASCII @ 57.6k. The factory default is HEX.
FAN SPEED: Sets the maximum fan speed, range 50-100%. Used to
reduce noise at the maximum fan speed. (The fan speed increases with
increasing load). Lowering the Fan Speed will reduce the
ThermoCube II’s cooling capacity. The factory default is 90%
Note: The factor default is 90% because 100% increases noise but
adds little to cooling capacity.
PUMP SPEED: Sets the maximum pump speed, range 50-100%.
Used to reduce maximum pump pressure/flow. Lowering the Pump
Speed will reduce the ThermoCube II’s coolant flow. Pump speed
cannot be adjusted on Gear Pumps. The factory default is 100%
