* HDD Power Down When enabled and after the set time of system
inactivity, the hard disk drive will be powered down
while all other devices remain active.
* Suspend Mode After the selected period of system inactivity, the
chipset enters a hardware suspend mode, stopping
the CPU clock and possibly causing other system
devices to enter power management modes.
* Doze Mode After the selected period of system inactivity, the
CPU clock runs at slower speed while all other
devices still operate at full speed.
PM Control by APM When enabled, an Advanced Power Management
device will be activated to enhance the Max. Power
Saving mode and stop the CPU internal clock, If
Advanced Power Management (APM) is installed
on your system, selecting Yes gives better power
savings. If the Max. Saving is not enabled, this will
be present to No.
Video Off Method This determines the manner by which the monitor is
blanked.

DPMS Supports
Blank Screen
This selection will cause the system to turn off the vertical
and horizontal synchronization ports and write blanks to the
video buffer.
This option only writes blanks to the video buffer.
Select this option if you monitor supports the Display Power
Management Signaling (DPMS) standard of the Video Elect-
ronics Standards to select video power management values.
Video Off After As the system moves from lesser to greater power-
saving modes, select the mode in which you want
the monitor to blank.
