3.6.3.8 Ejection Time (ET)
Function: To measure the time between two ejections.
Measurement method:
1. In M or B/M mode frozen state, press the【Calc】key to pop up the
Meas & Calc menu in M mode, move the trackball, use the cursor to
select “ET”, press the 【SET】key to confirm going to ET mode.
2. Measure ejection time ET, see “3.6.3.2 Time Measurement” for the
specific measurement.
3. The measurement result is displayed in the result window.
4. Repeat steps 1 to 3 to perform the next measurement.
3.6.3.9 TEI measurement
Function: To calculate based on ICT (Isovolumic Contraction Time)
and IRT (Isovolumic Relaxation Time).
Formula:
TEI = (ICT + IRT) / ET
Measurement method:
1. In M or B/M mode frozen state, press the【Calc】key to pop up the
Meas & Calc menu in M mode, move the trackball, use the cursor to
select “TEI measurement “ , press the 【SET】key to confirm going to
TEI measurement mode.
2. Measure ICT, see “3.6.3.2 Time Measurement” for the specific
measurement.
3. Measure IRT, see “3.6.3.2 Time Measurement” for the specific
measurement.
4. Calculate TEI, and the measurement & calculation result is
displayed in the result window.
5. Repeat steps 1 to 4, to perform the next measurement.
