Function: To measure Pulmonary Artery inner diameter.

Function: Based on this measurement item, to calculate Left
Ventricular Mass.
The items to be measured are:
LVPWd Left Ventricular Posterior Wall thickness diastolic cm
IVSTd Left Ventricular Septal thickness diastolic cm
LVIDd Left Ventricular Short Axis Diameter diastolic cm
Calculation formula:
LV Mass (g) ＝1.04*(LVPWd+IVSTd+LVIDd) 3 -LVIDd 3

1. In B mode freeze the image, press the
【Calc】key to pop up the Meas & Calc
menu, move the trackball, use the cursor to
select “Cardiac”, press the【SET】key to go to
the submenu, move the trackball to select
“PA”, press the【SET】key to go to
measurement state.
2. Measure PA; see “Distance Measurement”
for the specific method.
3. The measurement result is displayed in the
result window. Repeat steps 1 to 2 to
perform the next measurement.
