Full Time DMF
Even if your camera or lens is set to autofocus, you can always switch to the manual focus mode simply by turning the
focus ring. This is convenient when you want to switch between auto focus and manual focus at any time.
Menu item details
On:
Focus ring operations during autofocus are enabled.
Off:
Focus ring operations during autofocus are disabled.
Note
The following functions cannot be used when [Full Time DMF] is set to [On], and the focus mode is set to [Continuous AF].
Auto Magnifier in MF
[Full Time DMF] cannot be used in the following cases.
When the focus mode is set to [Continuous AF] and continuous shooting is in progress
When an SEL70200GM lens (sold separately) is attached while the focus mode is set to [Continuous AF]
The following lenses (sold separately) do not support [Full Time DMF].
