You can record onto a CD-R using the
receiver. See the operating instructions
supplied with your CD recorder.
1 Press one of the input buttons
to select the playback
component.
You can also use INPUT SELECTOR on
the receiver.

Prepare the playback
component for playing.
For example, tune to tile radio station you
want to record (page 58).
Prepare the recording
component.
Insert a blank CD-R into the CD recorder
and adjust the recording level.
Start recording on the
recording component, then
start playback on the playback
component.
Note
Sound a(1justulents do not affect the signal utltptlt
from the SA-CD/CD/CD-R OUT jacks.
You can record from a video component using
the receiver. See the operating instructions
supplied with your recording component.

For example, insert the video tape you
want to copy into the VCR.
Prepare the recording
component.
Insert a blank video tape, etc. into the
recording component (VIDEO 1) for
recording.
Start recording on the
recording component, then
start playback on the playback
component.
Notes
• Some suurces coutaiu copy guards to prevent
recording. Ii1 this case. you may not be able to
recurd from the source.
• When DMPORT input is selected and you have
assigned VIDEO 1 input to DMPORT input, no
video signals are output from the VIDEO 1VIDEO
OUT .jack.
