3 Select the tab for the item you want to change.

The settings are now in place.
āœ When you switch from Power Saving Mode to Performance Priority Mode in Sony Notebook Setup, please note that the bottom of the notebook may become hot. This
is due to the extra demands on the processor.
For more information about each option, click Help on the Sony Notebook Setup screen to display the help file.
If you open Sony Notebook Setup as a limited user, then only the About This Computer tab will be visible.
Bass boost
(depending on your model)
Tu r n s t h e Bass Boost function on/off (only with headphones). You can also check the effect of the Bass Boost
function by selecting a sound file sample and playing it.
S1 S2 buttons
(depending on your model)
Sets the functions from a drop-down list for the S1/S2 buttons located next to the keyboard or on the LCD screen
(depending on your model). Select External Display and click Advanced to set up the display options.
Performance (depending on your model) Selects a memory and graphics configuration for performance control.
Shortcut keys (depending on your model) Changes the screen resolution after switching to the output display.
DVD button (depending on your model) Specifies operations when the DVD button is pressed.
