Using your VAIO computer
ā‘
Volume buttons (depending on your model):
With these buttons you can adjust the volume level of your notebook. With the Mute button you mute the volume of your
notebook, with the Sound Effect button you turn on the volume of your notebook. Unless you playing music with VAIO original
software, this Sound Effect button does not enable the SonicStage Mastering Studio Audio Filter Function by default.
Using the privacy filter (optional accessory for VGN-B and VGN-T series)
You can use a privacy filter to make sure that the information on your computer can only be seen by the person sitting directly in
front of the screen. The privacy filter is a sheet of polarized glass which reduces glare while protecting your work from others. It is
custom-fit for your notebook and can remain in place even when the notebook is closed.
To apply the privacy filter, proceed as follows:
1 Remove the plastic cover from the back.
2 Make sure there are three tabs at the top and two at the bottom.
3 Fit the filter gently onto the screen by sliding the tabs between the gaps.
Take care when removing the privacy filter as the LCD screen could get scratched.
