I cannot play a DVD when using two screens
❑ You will not have a problem in the following situations:
❑ When you use a CRT or an LCD display on its own.
VGN-T series: You can use a CRT and LCD display at the same time.
❑ When you play video files which are stored on the hard drive with Windows Media Player 9.
The reading speed of CD/DVD-RWs is very slow
Generally, the reading speed of a CD/DVD-RW is slower than that of a -ROM or -R. The reading speed can also vary depending on
the type of format.
The disc tray ejects even when it has been locked into place
❑ Ensure that the disc is placed with the label side facing up.
❑ Clean the disc and the disc drive lens with an appropriate cleaner.
❑ The disc may be scratched. Place another disc to see if that is the reason.
❑ There may be condensation in the drive. Remove the disc and leave the drive open for approximately one hour. Remove the
battery while you wait for the condensation to disappear.
