7.2. FRAMEPOST ASSEMBLY
WARNING! Do not ride your Diverge STR without all components of the STR
system properly installed and connected as outlined in this manual, including
the damper and damper tendon as well as the framepost boot and boot bolt.
Failure to do so could result in structural damage to the framepost and could
cause you to lose control and fall.

Insert the damper into the top tube.
Thread in the damper bolts until they are finger tight.
Damper bolts are torqued after the tendon is installed (FIG. 7).
WARNING! Size 49 frames have an additional travel-reducing spacer
(highlighted in blue) attached to the shaft of the damper. Do not remove this
spacer. Removal of the spacer can damage the framepost and cause you to
lose control and fall.
