7.3. ADJUSTING FRAMEPOST COMPLIANCE (STIFFNESS)
90°
9
FIG. 9
Loosen the seat tube binder bolt.
Grab the top of the framepost boot to limit its rotation and prevent excessive stretch.
Rotate the saddle 90 degrees from its current position. One slot should always face
forward as shown above.
Torque the seat tube binder bolt to 10 Nm / 88 in-lbf and adjust your seatpost accordingly.
You don’t have to remove the seatpost or tendon to adjust the framepost
compliance.
CAUTION: Do not turn the framepost in the wrong direction while the binder
bolt is inserted. This could scratch the framepost.
7.4. ADJUSTING FRAMEPOST COMPRESSION
You can adjust the compression level of the framepost spring to tune compliance at the
saddle. Adjustments can be made any time, even while out riding.

FIG. 10
Turn the compression adjustment lever on the back of the damper to your desired level.
OPEN (A): Allows for most of the force from an event (riding over a bump) to travel directly
into the framepost. It’s the most compliant/smoothest setting.
MEDIUM (B): Less travel in the framepost and more force is absorbed by the damper.
CLOSED (C): Very little travel in the framepost and more force is absorbed by the damper.
