Remove the framepost boot bolt on the front of the seat tube using a 2.5 mm hex key.
Stabilize the top of the boot and lift it out of the frame over the framepost.
CAUTION: Do not to twist the framepost boot when removing it as this could
tear the material.

Remove the seat tube binder bolt on the non-drive side of the seat tube using a 5 mm hex
key.
The seat tube binder bolt is most easily accessed with the rear wheel
removed. Alternatively, deflating the rear tire may provide enough room for
tool access.
Remove the framepost by grabbing it from the top and pulling up while rotating it.
Install the new framepost. Follow the 7.2. FRAMEPOST ASSEMBLY instructions to the
end starting with FIG. 5.
Make sure all parts (boot, framepost, etc.) are thoroughly cleaned before
reinstalling.
WARNING! Do not ride your Diverge STR without all components of the STR
system properly installed and connected as outlined in this manual, including
the damper and damper tendon as well as the framepost boot and boot bolt.
Failure to do so could result in structural damage to the framepost and could
cause you to lose control and fall.
