2.2.7 Gas supply
Information! Measurement errors!
Impurities in the argon supply cause measuring errors.
Ensure the installation of the argon supply line is free of oil and grease.
Only argon must be used when operating the instrument.

Argon of higher purity or gas pre-purification is
required for a nitrogen analysis.
The spectrometer requires an argon supply line.
A suitable pressure reducer is required for the argon supply (bottles or liquid gas
tank).
Adjustable output pressure 0 - 10 bar
The argon inlet pressure at the instrument is 4.8 5.0 bar (69.6 72.5 psi)
2.3 Prohibited operating conditions
Do not operate the instrument if one of the following conditions exists:
If the instrument is faulty or damaged.
If the ambient conditions do not comply with the specification.
If the area where the instrument is used is not a commercial/industrial
premise.
