  If the SPECTRO Measuring Instruments unit fails to generate sparks in arc or spark mode, and the software indicates a 'not active' status in Windows, press 'Esc' or click the measuring window with the left mouse button of the trackball. Also, ensure that the electrode gap is properly adjusted after cleaning the electrode using the spacer. If these steps do not resolve the issue, the sample probe start button or the plasma generator might be defective, in which case you should contact your service center. It is also possible that the plasma generator parameters were modified or deleted, you must have the former settings restored by qualified personnel.

  If the software on your SPECTRO Measuring Instruments reacts slowly, possibly due to long measuring times, it might be because a virus scanner is installed. To resolve this, add the directory "C:\Spectro Smart Studio\Spark Analyzer Pro Mobile" or the processes "TXC03MeasurementGUI.exe" and "TXC03MethDevGUI.exe" to the exceptions list in your virus scanner to prevent them from being scanned.
