6.5.1 Preparing the measuring procedure
Before starting the measurement, proceed as follows:
1. Check the adapter and the sample for moisture.
It is important that no moisture is visible on the outside.
If necessary, dry the sample.
2. Check if the adapter is clean.
3. If necessary, prepare the sample surface by grinding, milling, etc.
4. Ensure that the correct sample probe, electrode, and adapter are installed.
The measurement will be blocked if a wrong sample probe/testing
program combination is used.
Change the sample probe.
5. Check the safety measures if you work with toxic samples.
The measurement is now prepared.
