Contacting the electrode increases the risk of burn injuries. During normal
operation, the electrode will heat up to several hundred degrees.
Never touch the electrode with your bare hands, even after shutting
down the spectrometer. Always use pliers.
If an adapter is used for several measurements in a row, it can get hot.
Touch the adapter only after it has sufficiently cooled.
A sample can get hot if it is measured several times.
Touch the sample only after it has sufficiently cooled.
In order to prevent inadvertent triggering of a measurement, the "Start
measurement" key is disabled after one minute (adjustable), if the key is not
activated in the meantime. To unlock, briefly press the button.
