6.3 Standby mode
The stand-by mode is only possible with mains power supply. In the case of
battery power supply, the unit will be switched off completely.
1. Connect the unit to the mains power supply.
2. To switch off the plasma generator, press the switch:
3. Select the dialog item "Shut down" and confirm the dialog box.
 The program is terminated.
 The computer is turned off.
 The unit is switched off.
4. Close the argon bottle.
 The unit is in the stand-by mode.
6.4 Switching off the instrument
To switch off the unit, proceed as follows:
1. Select the dialog item "Shut down" and confirm the dialog box.
 The program is terminated.
 The computer is turned off.
 The unit is switched off.
2. Close the argon bottle.
3. Unplug the mains power plug. The unit is only completely disconnected from
power if the power plug is unplugged.
 The unit is now switched off.
