7.6 Replacing the CO
2
and fine dust filter unit

The CO
2
filter unit (optional) contains chemicals.
 The applicable safety data sheet is available at
http://www.spectro.com/msds.
 Protective gloves and goggles must be worn when replacing the filter unit.
 When disposing of the filter unit, compliance with legal regulations is
mandatory.
To replace the filter, proceed as follows:
1. Switch the instrument off (see page 22)
2. Release the "unit/transport
carriage" locking mechanism
and take the instrument off the
transport carriage.
