ICALization of the measuring instrument (ICAL)
For the ICALization, the ICAL sample must be measured 5 times. The average
values of these measurement results are calculated and stored in the instrument.
In order to standardize the instrument, proceed as follows:
1. Place a clean rod electrode in the sample probe, see page 30 (in arc mode:
silver electrode).
2. Call up the ICAL function with the "ICAL" button or with the corresponding
function key.
3. Follow the instructions on the screen and perform the necessary 5
measurements with the reference sample.
4. Poor measurements are highlighted in the ICAL measurement window and
can be deleted. Please repeat the respective measurements.
The instrument is ICALized.
