Fault Possible cause Remedy
The unit does not
generate sparks in the
arc or spark mode.
The measuring window of
the software has a "not
active" status in Windows.
Press "Esc" or click the
measuring window with the left
"mouse button" of the trackball.
The electrode gap is too
small.
Clean the electrode and re-
adjust
the gap using the spacer.
The sample probe start
button is defective.
Please contact your service
center.
The plasma generator
parameters of the program
that is used were modified
or deleted.
 Have the former settings
restored by qualified
personnel.
 Please contact your service

The plasma generator is
defective.

The actual values are
below the stored limit
values for the reference
elements (error

The adapter is reversed in
the arc mode.
Turn the adapter so that one
opening faces the fiber-optics

properly seated and correct it if
necessary.
