T urn speaking on/off
1. Go to Settings > Options > Speaking .
2. Press the center of the screen to switch on/off.
Play at start
When Play at start is on, music starts playing immediately
when you turn on the device. It will be whatever you were last
playing on your account.

1. Go to Settings > Options > Play at start .
2. Press the center of the screen to switch on/off.
Voice optimization
This option makes Car Thing better at picking up your voice
requests by recognizing which sounds are coming from itself
and which sounds aren’t.
Perform voice optimization
1. Go to Settings > Options > Voice Optimization.
2. Press the center of the screen.
3. Several sounds are played as part of the optimization.
The optimization takes 10-30 secs.
Voice
Here you can select the voice for Car Thing. All voice replies
from the device will be performed with the selected voice.
Select voice
1. Go to Settings > Options > Voice .
2. Press the center of the screen.
3. Select Voice 1 or Voice 2 and press the center of the
screen to confirm.
Music level
To turn the volume up or down, you use the volume control
settings on the car’s media system, but you can also select a
default volume level for the Car Thing.

Set music level
1. Go to Settings > Options > Music level .
2. Press the center of the screen.
3. Select High, Medium, or Low as the default music
level.
