Connect via Bluetooth
If you choose to connect with the car’s media system with
Bluetooth you don’t need any cords or other equipment. Car
Thing can remember several Bluetooth devices and you will
see these in a list.

Forget device
If you no longer want Car Thing to pair to a certain Bluetooth
Device you can have Car Thing forget it.
1. Go to Settings > Connect to car in Car Thing..
2. Press the center of the screen.
3. Use the dial to scroll to the end and select Forget car .
4. Pick the device you want to forget in the list.
5. Press the center of the screen to forget that device.
Account
This is the Spotify account linked to Car Thing. It means you
can access that account from your device.
The device needs to be linked to an account for you to be
able to use it, so if you unlink an account you need to link
another account instead.
Link account
Go to Link account for more info.
Unlink account
1. Go to Settings > Account .
2. Press the center of the screen.
3. A prompt will be shown asking if you want to unlink
the account. Press the center of the screen to confirm.
Options
Under Options there’s a bunch of advanced settings that you
can change to adapt the Car Thing to your preferences.
Autoplay
Autoplay means that anything you browsed when turning the
dial starts playing automatically.
Turn on/off Autoplay
1. Go to Settings > Options > Autoplay .
2. Press the center of the screen to switch on/off.
Speaking
When Speaking is on, Car Thing will reply to you when you
talk to it. If it’s off, Car Thing will still hear and execute your
requests, but it won’t speak.
