8. Figure 83 shows the stub shaft on the motor shaft. Leave the
shaft collar loose.
Set backface clearance
1. Install the backplate onto the pump.
2. Twist the backplate so the locking tabs hook over the studs in
the motor adapter.
3. Install the key into the stub shaft keyway.
