5.2
Defrost
This
mode offers
a
healthy
and
clean means
of
defrosting
frozen
foods
which
reduces the
likelihood of
growing
bacteria.
Thawing
is
achieved
by
the
circulation
of air
in
the
oven. The
oven
does not
provide
any
heat
on
this
setting.
All
foods
may
be
defrosted
using
this
method
but
it
is
especially
good for
meat
and
fish
fillets
and
delicate
frozen
foods
such
as
cream
cheesecakes,
gateaux
and
cakes
with
icing
or
frosting.
Using
Defrost
Mode
1.
Adjust
oven
shelves to
correct position
(this mode
is
most
effective
when
food
is
placed
near
the
centre
of
the
oven.
2.
Select
Defrost
on
the
mode
switch.
3.
When
defrosting
is
complete, turn
the
mode
switch
to
the
off
position
to
turn
the
oven
off.
NOTE:
A
temperature
cannot
be
set when
Defrost
mode
is
selected.
