3-6. Loading a Paper Roll
Useapaperrollthatcomplieswiththeprinterspecications.(Seesection3-6-1,“CompliantPaperRollSpecications”.)
1) Putyourngersinthegroovesoneithersideoftheprinter,andopentherearcover.
3) Push on both sides of the rear cover to close it.
Note 1: Be sure not to close the rear cover by pushing only one side.
2: Be careful not to get your ngers caught when opening or closing the printer’s rear cover.
3: After the rear cover is closed, the printer performs initial operations (from paper feeding to paper cutting).
Do not open the rear cover until the initial operations are complete.
2) Loadthepaperrollintotheprinterinthedirectionindicatedbythegure,andpulltheleadingedgeofthepaperstraight
toward you.
Note 1: Pull the paper straight as you pull it out.
2: Be careful not to pull the paper out at an angle, because doing so may cause the paper to jam or skew.
