– The front handle has to be
removed for access to the heater
switch - see 12.8.1.
 Take the ground wire ring
terminal off the switch.

 Pull the switch out of its seat.

 Push back the rubber grommet a
little and pull the connector
sleeve out of the switch.

Reassemble in the reverse
sequence.
Note:
Check correct installed position of
switch in its seat (switch seat in not
symmetrical).

– Remove the handle molding -
see 10.1
 Slide the insulating tubes off the
two pin and socket connectors.
Separate the connectors.

 Take the pressure pad out of the
handle recess.
– Release and remove the heating
element.

Important:
 Make sure you install the heating
element that matches the
flywheel - see 6.4
1 = Previous heating element
2 = New heating element
