Stihl BGA 86 - Installing the Right Handle Housing

BGA 86 11
N Position blower (12) with inlet cone (13) on the left
handle housing.
N Insert blade terminal of yellow wire (15) in the yellow
receptacle (YE).
N Insert blade terminal of blue wire (16) in the blue
receptacle (BU).
N Insert blade terminal of red wire (17) in the red
receptacle (RD).
N Install the blower tube, @ 6.9.
N Place the blower (12) with blower tube (5, 6) in the
guides (arrows) on the left handle housing.
N Check position of motor wires. The wires must be
under the guide lugs (18).
N Install right handle housing, @ 6.11.
6.11 Installing the Right Handle Housing
N Push the cover (10) into the guides on the handle
housing (11) until the locking tabs (arrows) snap into
place.
N Push the handle molding (9) against the handle
housing (11) until the locking tabs (arrows) snap into
place.
N Fit the soundproofing (7) so that its cutouts engage
the tabs on the handle housing (11).
N Fit the right handle housing (11) and check that no
wires are pinched. The motor wires must be under the
guide lugs (18).
N Insert and tighten down the screws (8) firmly.
N Check operation of controls, @ 7.9.
