Thecarburetorisairtightifthis
valueremainsconstant.Ifit
drops,however,thismaybedue
totwomainreasons:
1.Inletneedledoesnotsealpro-
perly(impuritiesinvalveseat
orsealingconeofinletneedle
damagedorinletcontrollever
jammed).
2.Meteringdiaphragmdamaged.
Thecarburetormustberepairedin
bothcases;refertothe"Carbure-
tor"manual.
-Afterthetest,openventing
screwanddisconnectfuelline
fromelbowconnector.
-Connectfuelhosetoelbow
connector.
-Refitshroud.
-Removeshroud,see3.1.
Disconnectthrottlecablenipple
(1)fromslottedpin(2)onthrottle
lever.
Pullfuelhose(1)offconnecting
socketonfuelpumpflange.
-Disconnectfuelhose(2)from
elbowconnectoroncarburetor.
-Removeairfilter,see8.1.
Unscrewnuts.
-Removefilterhousing.
