: Unscrew the hex nuts (1) on the
chain sprocket cover (2) and
remove chain sprocket cover and
guide bar (3).

: Disengage the chain brake by
pulling the hand guard towards
the front handle.

: Remove the E-clip (1), washer (2)
and rim sprocket (3) if fitted.

: Remove the clutch drum (1) with
needle cage (2).
– Examine the needle cage for
signs of damage.

: Inspect the clutch drum (1).
If there are signs of serious wear on
the inside diameter of the clutch
drum (1), check the remaining wall
thickness. If it is less than about
80% of the original thickness, fit a
new clutch drum.
