Driver rights, duties and rules of behav-
iour
The driver must be trained in his rights and
duties.
The driver must be granted the required rights.
The driver must wear protective equipment
(protection suit, safety footwear, safety hel-
met, industrial goggles and gloves) that is ap-
propriate for the conditions, the job and the
load to be lifted. Solid footwear should be
worn to ensure safe driving and braking.
The driver must be familiar with the operating
instructions and have access to them at all
times.
The driver must:
have read and understood the operating
manual
have familiarised himself with safe opera-
tion of the truck
be physically and mentally able to drive the
truck safely
DANGER
The use of drugs, alcohol or medications that affect
reactions impair the ability to drive the truck!
Individuals under the influence of the aforementioned
substances are not permitted to perform work of any
kind on or with the truck.
Prohibition of use by unauthorised per-
sons
The driver is responsible for the truck during
working hours. He must not allow unauthor-
ised persons to operate the truck.
When leaving the truck, the driver must secure
it against unauthorised use, e.g. by pulling out
the key.
