MAINTENANCE
NOTE / IMPORTANT: Turn off the main fuse of the oven via the switchboard before starting maintenance – this is to
avoid electric shock or death.
Clean the stones in the oven room from burnt particles.
Clean the oven doors from soot as well as particles with a damp cloth (cold oven)
Brush out the baking residues as well as soot from the oven room.
Clean the glass and shutters inside and out, with a damp cloth (cold oven).
Note: Keep the oven glasses clean, otherwise it will be difficult to remove fat etc.
Check that your cleaning agent is suitable for glass and oven rooms.
Do not use detergents that are alkaline or contain abrasives.
The oven must not be sprayed with water as this can lead to a short circuit and corrosion
damage to hidden parts of the oven.
If the oven insulation gets wet, the temperature of the outer plates will increase significantly,
and the ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) will be activated.
Ensure that the baking stones are in their correct place
Clean the filter of the ventilation cover (intake part).
In the event of a lamp replacement, the oven's main switch must be turned off.
Spray the ball bearings of the oven doors with anti-rust agents, preferably "OMICRON 35
Extremely High temperature grease 400ml" that can withstand high temperatures.
Note:
- Above procedures must be carried out when the oven is cold (never at hot
temperature, this can cause a fire).
- Do not use oil or other unapproved lubricants.
Check power contactors and other electrical parts with a technician and replace any defective
parts.
Call or contact us via email to order original parts for your Mora oven. Please be aware that the
applicable warranty does not apply if original parts are replaced with unapproved products. You
lose as your warranty protection and your oven risks not delivering optimal results.
Service certificates may be required by customer if necessary. Furthermore, we do not cover
any "external" damage caused by our products, the end user should have their own insurance
and take responsibility for ensuring that the surrounding environment is secured.
