During setup, unpack the cartons and check all items for proper operation. Confirm proper operation before you place the
product into service.
Remove all the shipping and packaging materials from the product before use.
The vehicle patient compartment where the product will be used must have a:
• Smooth rear edge for product loading
• Level floor large enough for the folded product
• Model 6370//6371/6377/6378/6379 crash-stable cot fastener (not included)
• Tie-downs to secure the foot end of the cot are recommended (Model 6083 only)
• Space to install the safety hook
• 32 in. (81 cm) maximum loading height
NNoottee -- Loose items or debris on the vehicle patient compartment floor can interfere with the operation of the vehicle safety
hook and product fastener. Keep the vehicle patient compartment floor clear.
When necessary, modify the vehicle to fit the cot. Do not modify the cot.
