B. Adjusting the tension of the lower thread
The lower thread becomes tight when tension
adjusting screw ① is turned clockwise, as
shown in the picture. When the screw is
turned the other way the lower thread is
loosened.

8) How to Wind the Lower Thread
A. Insert the bobbin into thread winding drive shaft ② on thread winding base ① which is installed
on the upper top.
B. Operate the machine after sticking the thread winding lever ③ to the bobbin.
C. When the thread winding lever is separated from the bobbin, cut the bobbin thread with thread
winding mes ④.

Upper Thread and the Lower Thread
A. Adjusting the tension of the upper thread
When the tension adjusting nuts ③ and ④, of
thread tension adjusting unit ① and sub-
tension adjusting unit ②, are turned clockwise
the upper thread is tightened. And loosens
when turned the other way around.
