6 Before mast erection, confirm that there are no bolts, wrenches and other abandoned
objects in the masts, connecting the pin shaft and the baffle is installed in place.
7 When working with rotary head and drill mast at a high altitude, watch out for the
danger of falling off.
1.7.4 Precautions for Winch Operation
1 When lowering the drill rope, it should observe the corresponding relationship between
the depth of the devolution and the extended length of each drill bar, and prevent the
occurrence of “hit bar” because of the “cast bar” after “block bar”.
2 In the process of drilling tool down, you should always observe the bending condition
of the coil, and prevent the wirerope overlying in the process of devolution due to the
clamping stagnation of the drill bar or drilling tool.
3 When the drilling tools is down to the hole bottom 1-3m,the main winch should be
stopped. Open the suspension function to let the drilling tool slowly reach the bottom
of the hole and avoid wirerope overlying.
4 Before lifting the drill bar, the rotary head should be reversed so as to eliminate the
occlusion of the torque transfer between the transmit keys of each section drill bar. In
the process of the drill bar, the rising depth and the retraction of the dill bar should be
observed at all times to prevent the accident of “block bar” and “hit bar” and causing
the heavy loss of the machine.
5 It is not allowed to operate the winch with impact, such as lifting and lowering in a
sudden.
6 The winch on the rig is specially designed for hole operation(Such as rising drill bar,
broach and other drilling tool),and cannot be used for other purpose.
7 Our company shall not be liable for any work(for example, ordinary lifting) other than
above operation.
8 Lift the weight, and the weight is front of the mast, and the angle between the wirerope
and the mast is no more than 15°;When the weight is located in front of the mast, it
should rotate the drill so that the weight is located on the extension cord of longitudinal
axis. Otherwise, there could be major accidents such as overturning the fuselage.
9 It is prohibited to suspend load on a parked rig.
1.7.5 Precautions for Drilling
1 Generally, the machine can use drilling tool and stabilizer to lower casing, and also can
be fit casing driver to fall it; then it can pull out casing by main & auxiliary winch or
crane. Operate it slowly and evenly. Do not use winch to hoist and fall casing suddenly
and shock that may damage machine.
2 If fall and hoist casing by above mentioned methed is difficult, please use special
equipment such as twisting machine, hammer drill etc.
