Intel® Speed Shift Technology
Select Enabled to support Intel's Speed Shift Technology, which allows
the user to control the processor's frequency and voltage through the
operating system. This feature is supported on Windows 10. The op-
tions are Disabled or Enabled.
HDC Control
The Hardware Duty Cycling (HDC) feature enables the CPU autono-
mously force its components into an idle state. The options are Dis-
abled or Enabled.
Turbo Mode
Select Enable for processor cores to run faster than the frequency
specied by the manufacturer. The options are Disabled or Enabled.
View/Congure Turbo Options
The following information are be displayed in this section:
• Max Turbo Power Limit
• Min Turbo Power Limit
• Package TDP Limit
• Power Limit 1
• Power Limit 2
Energy Efcient P-state
Select Enable to activate Energy Efcient P-State. When set to Dis-
abled, this feature will disable access to ENERGY_PERFORMANCE_
BIAS MSR, and CPUID Function 6 ECX[3] will read 0, indicating that
there is no support for Energy Efcient policy setting. The options
are Enabled or Disabled.
Package Power Limit MSR Lock
This feature enables or disables the locking of Package Power Limit
settings. When enabled Package Power Limit MSR will be locked
and a reset will be required to unlock the register. The options are
Disabled or Enabled.
