8.3.2 100 mm-depth installation
For a bigger pipe diameter (> DN150), the 100 mm-depth installation is
applicable. In the 100 mm-depth installation, the sensor is inserted to
the exact 100 mm-depth of pipes.
Insertion depth= x+ y+100
x is the wall thickness of pipe
y = Height of the ball valve
Calculation example:
A 12”-diameter pipe with the wall
thickness of 9 mm and a 87 mm-height
ball valve.
x=9mm ; y=87 mm
Insertion depth
= 9 mm+ 87 mm+ 100 mm=196 mm
