Inspection
Check bearings on wheel hub.
Rotate each bearing’s inner ring with fingers.
Check if bearings can be turned in smooth and
silent, and also check if bearing outer ring is
mounted on wheel hub.
If bearing rotation is uneven, noising, or loose
bearing mounted, then replace it.
Check oil seal for wear or damage, and replace it
if necessary.
Disassembly
Caution
y Never install used bearings. Once bearing
removed, it has to be replaced with new one.
Remove out side bearing and seal from wheel hub
using following tools.
Special tool:
Inner bearing puller
Remove front wheel hub bearing inner spacer.
Remove inner side bearing and oil seal from wheel
hub using following tools.
Special tool:
Inner bearing puller
Wheel hub
Collar
Brake disk
