      If your Symmetricom Receiver is malfunctioning (excluding power, tracking, or locked issues), try a cold reset. Here's how: 1. Turn off or disconnect AC power. 2. While holding down the MENU key, reapply power. Watch the LCD display for 'COLD RESET DONE, UNIT SET TO DEFAULT PLEASE RELEASE COLD RESET SWITCH'. 3. Release the MENU key. 4. The default values are now loaded. 5. Examine and re-enter/change each default value as needed.

      If the locked LED on your Symmetricom Receiver isn't illuminating, the internal oscillator may need calibration. Another potential cause is that the Elevation Mask value might be set too high.
