3.4.1 Bag or cassette lter
Caution
Duringoperation,allthecoversandservicedoorsofthesectionmustbekeptclosedatalltimes.Thefan
may not operate with the fan section door open.
Commissioning
Ifnotalreadyinstalled,inserttheltercassettesintothesupportframe:
• inserttheltercassettesintothesupportframe,
• withonelevel(theentirecrosssection)lledwithltercassettes,pressthecassettesbymeansofthelockprole
against the guide, which has sealing tape applied,
• repeattheprocedureuntiltheentirecrosssectionofthesectioncasingislled,
• checktheconnectionofthepressuremeasuringhosestothepressuremeasurementportsandconnectthehosesif
necessary.
Maintenance
Theltersmustretaintheirlteringefciencythroughouttheirservicelife.Inordertoguaranteetheirperformancein
termsofmaintainingairquality,regularlycheckthefollowing,foreachlterstage:
• the pressure drop
• the accumulated hours of operation
• thevisualappearanceoflters(cracksinthelteringmedium,leakagebetweentheltersandthelterframe).
Caution
Intheeventofnoticeablecontamination,crackinginthelteringmediumorleakagebetweenthelters
andtheframe,replacetheltersregardlessofthecurrentpressuredroporhoursofoperation.
Timetoreplacelters:
• whentheallowablenalpressuredropisachieved,
• when the replacement interval has expired,
• whenthelterperformance,inmechanicalorhygienicterms,isnolongeradequate,
• iftheltersbecomecontaminatedfollowingairhandlingunitinstallationorreconstruction,
• if requested by the sanitary inspection.
