A CIFS share takes the form of a filesystem so you cannot perform a Clone Duplication to a
CIFS share. The Wipe, Blank Check and Format options are also not available when a CIFS
share is selected as a destination.
Hashing
Forensic practitioners may need to calculate the hash values, or fingerprints, for a source drive
without making a copy of the drive. The Hash function can generate MD5, SHA-1, and SHA-256
hash values for a source drive. You can use up to two different hash algorithms in one
operation.
