Accessible from the Sources, USBAccessories, or Destinations buttons at the bottom of the
Home screen, the TX1 provides the following media utilities:
l Wipe (destination/accessory only)
l Format (destination/accessory only)
l Encryption
l HPA/DCO Disable (ATA drives only)
l Blank Check
l Browse Filesystem
l SMART (ATA drives only)
l Export (iSCSI target)
l Eject
Wiping Destination or Accessory Drives
The Wipe media utility provides two wipe types for destination and accessory drives:
Overwrite (single pass or multiple pass) and Secure Erase.
